What this site is
Airport Drop-Off Charges tracks the "kiss and fly" drop-off and pick-up fee at 29 UK airports: the charge itself, the minutes it buys, what an overstay costs, how you pay, and the free or cheaper alternative most airports keep but rarely signpost. The average fee across the 27 airports that charge is currently £6.59; only Cornwall Newquay and Humberside are still free at the terminal.
Who runs it
The site is independently built and maintained by one person — Rick, reachable at hello@airportdropoffcharges.co.uk. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or funded by any airport or airport group. It is funded through clearly-labelled affiliate links to parking and travel services — commissions never influence the charge data, which comes only from airports' own published prices.
How the data is verified
Every figure is checked against the relevant airport's own website and stamped with the date it was checked — the current full review is dated 25 Aug 2026. The whole table is re-verified quarterly and after any reported change, and corrections are made visibly. If you spot an error, email hello@airportdropoffcharges.co.uk and it will be checked against the official source and fixed.
Open data
The full dataset is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence: free for anyone — journalists, researchers, developers, AI assistants — to reuse with a credit link. Get it as JSON or CSV, from GitHub, Kaggle or Hugging Face, embed the table on your own site, or query it over MCP.
