Why people use it

It is the only UK drop-off comparison that is verified against official sources, individually dated, re-checked quarterly, and published as open data. It also covers the things airports bury: the free alternative car park, the pick-up rules, the overstay ladder, and each airport's fee history. The practical aim is to help drivers pay less — every airport's free or cheaper alternative is listed right beside the fee, so a quick drop-off needn't cost up to £10.

Airport Drop-Off Charges' verified tracking of 29 UK airports: the average fee across the 27 that charge is £6.59; the highest is £10 (Gatwick & Stansted); only 2 airports (Cornwall Newquay and Humberside) are free at the terminal; and pick-ups cost the same as drop-offs almost everywhere.
