It was £5 in 2024, so the charge has risen 80% in two years — the steepest increase in our index — and at £9 Luton is now the third-most-expensive UK drop-off, behind only Gatwick and Stansted at £10. source

Leeds Bradford · Leeds Bradford's fee history added: the Pick Up & Drop Off charge rose from £6.50 (introduced April 2024) to £8 for up to 10 minutes — up 23%. Flagged by a reader and confirmed against the airport's 2024 statement as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post; the One Hour Free Zone remains in place. source

Liverpool John Lennon · Liverpool raised its Express gate rate from £6 to £7 for up to 10 minutes — its second rise in a year (£5 in 2025). The longer tiers (£10/20 min, £25/hour) are unchanged. source

East Midlands · East Midlands corrected: the Rapid Drop Off is £5 for up to 15 minutes (we previously showed £6 for 30 minutes, a figure that belonged to Short Stay 1). The airport's page also confirms the lanes are drop-off only. source

London Stansted · Stansted's Express Set Down changed to £10 for up to 15 minutes and £28 for over 15 minutes. source

Belfast International · Belfast International raised its drop-off charge from £3 to £5 for 10 minutes — a 66% jump, the sharpest single rise of 2026 so far. (Edinburgh's earlier £5 to £8.50 move was up 70%.) source
