Long Stay's free 30 minutes is the cheapest place to wait, but there's no shuttle: allow about 10 minutes to walk to the terminal. Blue Badge holders get an hour free in any car park, including the pick-up zones. The Pickup & Dropoff zone takes cards only; the car parks also take contactless, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Blue Badge and accessible parking

Vehicles carrying a Blue Badge holder get an hour free in any of the airport's car parks, including the drop-off and pick-up zones: press the intercom at the exit barrier and give your 16-character code. Every car park except Mid Stay has wider Blue Badge spaces. In Terminal Parking, the assistance button brings help with a wheelchair or bags, and Long Stay and Plane Parking have call points for special assistance. Edinburgh has two lounges open to all passengers: the Escape Lounge (near gate 4) and the Turkish Airlines Lounge by Plaza Premium Group (near gate 16). An Aspire Lounge near gate 16 can also be booked through booking sites such as Holiday Extras. FastTrack, the airport's security fast lane, costs from £9 a pass, booked ahead or at the airport by QR code, and comes free with Multi-storey bookings arriving between 3.30am and 6pm, for up to five people.
