The short answer
On turn-up prices, the cheapest official car park for a week is Long Stay, at £149. Long Stay is a 2 minute shuttle ride from the terminal. If you'd rather walk, Mid Stay is a 6 to 9 minute walk and comes to £269 for a week by our sum. Leeds Bradford Airport says pre-booking online guarantees your space at the best price, and that turn-up spaces in Short Stay, Mid Stay and Long Stay are subject to availability. It publishes no percentage saving. For short visits, Short Stay is a short walk from the terminal, at £69 for the first 24 hours. Only collecting someone? The One Hour Free Zone is free for up to an hour, a 3 to 4 minute walk on an incline to the terminal, but if you leave and come back within an hour the airport charges a minimum of £68.
Every turn-up price on this page is the airport's own published price, checked on its website on 25 Oct 2026. Weekly totals are our sums from those prices. Pre-booked and partner prices change often, so we link to them live rather than quote them. How we check.
The seven official car parks
These are the six car parks on Leeds Bradford Airport's main parking page, plus the One Hour Free Zone from its facilities pages; each name links to the airport's page.
| Car park | Distance | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Long Stay | 2 minute shuttle ride to the terminal; the airport lists the shuttle bus as 24/7 | The lowest gate price for a week |
| Mid Stay | 6 to 9 minute walk to the terminal | Walking to the terminal on a longer stay, with your keys in your pocket |
| Short Stay | A short walk to the terminal (3 minutes, says the airport's main parking page) | Short visits and quick trips |
| Premium Short Stay | Next to the terminal, a 1 to 2 minute walk | The closest self-park spaces, with free Fast Track |
| Meet & Greet | Drop-off lanes a 0 to 2 minute walk in front of the terminal | Handing over the keys right by the terminal |
| Pick Up & Drop Off car park | 1 minute walk to the terminal | The closest drop-off to the terminal |
| One Hour Free Zone | 3 to 4 minute walk on an incline to the terminal, through the Mid Stay car park | Free drop-offs and pick-ups |
- Long Stay: The airport calls it its budget-friendly choice, offering great value spaces with all the perks of being on-site. Follow the Long Stay signs from Whitehouse Lane. You can turn up on the day, but spaces are subject to availability and a 1 day minimum charge applies. No height restriction; the entry barrier is 2.4m wide. All the airport's car parks are open 24/7. Postcode LS19 7TU.
- Mid Stay: The airport calls it a customer favourite and a smart choice for price and location: it is within walking distance of the terminal, a 6 to 9 minute walk, with no waiting around or handing in keys. You can turn up on the day, subject to availability, and a 1 day minimum charge applies. The walkway from the One Hour Free Zone to the terminal runs through it. No height restriction; the entry barrier is 2.4m wide.
- Short Stay: Number plate recognition barriers and spaces close to the terminal. Depending on where you park, you may need to walk up stairs to reach the terminal front. You can turn up on the day, subject to availability. No height restriction; the entry barrier is 2.4m wide. Postcode LS19 7TU.
- Premium Short Stay: The airport's closest self-park option, with extra-wide 2.7m bays for larger vehicles and a 2.5m-wide entry barrier. Free Fast Track security is included for up to 4 people; the airport's Fast Track page says it is complimentary when you book Premium Short Stay online. You can also turn up: it costs £99 for up to 1 day, then £50 for each extra day or part day, and a 1 day minimum charge applies.
- Meet & Greet: Book ahead only: the airport says Meet & Greet is not available to turn up. After a scan from the camera system you park in one of the drop-off lanes, and your car's condition is recorded in a 360° vehicle photo booth. The Meet & Greet page says to leave your keys at the small Meet & Greet office in the car park and collect them from the same office, when your car will be waiting just outside the terminal; the Short Stay and Long Stay pages instead say the Meet & Greet desk is through the main terminal doors, so follow your booking confirmation. No height restriction. Postcode LS19 7TU.
- Pick Up & Drop Off car park: The closest drop-off, a one minute walk from the terminal, and the one the airport recommends for dropping off and picking up, with no need to pre-book. It's ticketless: cameras record your entry and exit times and you pay by credit or debit card, including Apple Pay, as you leave, with receipts on request at the exit. Travelling Blue Badge holders can stay up to 60 minutes for the same £8. It has a 1.9m height limit; taller vehicles, minibuses and coaches use the left-hand Bus/Coach lane, which has its own prices. The airport's own pages disagree on the price: its parking FAQs give the tariff here, while its Pick Up & Drop Off and Blue Badge pages still show the older £6.50.
- One Hour Free Zone: Free for up to an hour, which the airport says is great for picking up and dropping off passengers. Follow the One Hour Free car park signs from Whitehouse Lane, stay in the right-hand lane on the approach road and continue right after the barrier. Walk to the terminal on the walkway through the Mid Stay car park. Re-entry within 1 hour of leaving costs a minimum of £68, which covers up to 1 day of parking. Postcode LS19 7UE.

Booking ahead: Leeds Bradford Airport says pre-booking online guarantees your space at the best price, and that turn-up spaces in Short Stay, Mid Stay and Long Stay are subject to availability. It publishes no percentage saving. Book on the airport's own site, or compare prices on the booking sites below. The airport's car park booking terms (dated 10 March 2026) say any booking can be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of making it. After that, Non-Flexible Bookings can't be cancelled, while Flexible Bookings can be cancelled at any time before your booked arrival time. Details such as the name and car registration can be changed up until the arrival time, and no refunds are given for unused days. Pre-booked stays have a 4-hour grace period before an overstay charge applies; if you come back a little later than intended without a booking, the airport's car park pages say it allows 'a short grace period free of charge', after which the exit barrier works out the overstay price.

If you're driving yourself, don't just turn up at the barrier: even the cheapest official car park costs £149 a week that way. The Leeds Bradford drop-off guide has the full rules for the Pick Up & Drop Off car park, and park or drop off at Leeds Bradford compares the two by trip length. The £8 Pick Up & Drop Off charge is from the airport's parking FAQs, checked on 25 October 2026; two of its other pages still show the older £6.50. Meet & Greet is not in the table: the airport says it is not available to turn up.

Booking sites and independent car parks

When we checked, Airparks listed Official Long Stay, Mid Stay, Short Stay and Premium Short Stay as on-airport parking, Official Meet and Greet as meet and greet, and Park2Travel Outdoor, Park2Travel Indoor and Sentinel Parking as off-airport parking. Holiday Extras listed Long Stay, Mid Stay, Short Stay and Meet & Greet with Park2Travel and Sentinel, and describes LBA Car Watch as a park and ride just outside the airport grounds. | Pick Up & Drop Off car park, 1 minute walk | £8 for up to 10 minutes, £10 for up to 20, £13.50 for up to 30 and £16.50 for up to an hour |

Don't drive out and come back in: re-entry within an hour of leaving costs a minimum of £68. If you take a wrong turn onto the one-way access road to the Terminal Front, the airport says to go through the nearest car park entry and press the help button at the exit barrier. Its car park terms say you must not stop on any red routes. The Pick Up & Drop Off car park is ticketless: cameras record your entry and exit times, and you pay by credit or debit card, including Apple Pay, as you leave. Early flight?
Hotel and parking the night before
Holiday Extras and Airparks both sell hotel-and-parking packages at Leeds Bradford. Holiday Extras describes two kinds: hotels where you leave your car at the hotel while you're away, and Sentinel packages, where you stay the night at the hotel, drive to Sentinel on the day of your flight and take its included shuttle to the airport. It says transfer arrangements from hotels vary, so check how you'll get to the terminal before you book.

Meet & greet and valet
The airport's own Meet & Greet can only be booked ahead online: after a camera scan you park in one of its drop-off lanes, a 0 to 2 minute walk in front of the terminal, your car's condition is recorded in a 360° photo booth, and you leave your keys at the Meet & Greet office; when you return, your car is waiting just outside the terminal. Airparks sells the airport's Meet and Greet, which it lists as Official Meet and Greet, and Holiday Extras sells a Leeds Bradford Meet and Greet it describes as under 2 minutes to the terminal, with no buses. Blue Badge and accessible parking
The airport says dedicated Blue Badge areas are available across all its car parks, and points Blue Badge holders to its Assisted Travel page. Travelling Blue Badge holders can stay up to 60 minutes in the Pick Up & Drop Off car park for the same £8 that buys everyone else 10 minutes, and there are several disabled bays a minute from the terminal front; the airport's Blue Badge page says to show the badge and a travel document at the Special Assistance desk in the terminal's main entrance, and that only the travelling badge holder gets the discount (that page still gives the older £6.50 rate). Its car park terms say a space designated for a group of users may only be used if the right documentation, such as a disabled badge, is clearly visible. The Pick Up and Drop Off zone has a 1.9m height limit, so a taller wheelchair-accessible vehicle will need the left-hand Bus/Coach lane. See how Leeds Bradford compares with other airports in the Blue Badge guide.

Lounges and fast track
Leeds Bradford has one lounge on its lounges page: the Six Eight One Lounge (in the newly extended terminal, open to families since 1 April 2026, with a 65-seat quiet area for adults and business travellers; the airport's pages show no price, so check it when you book). The airport says Priority Pass and Dragon Pass holders can walk in when there is space, with the option to guarantee entry by pre-booking. Fast Track, the airport's security lane, costs from £7 per person when pre-booked online at least 1 hour before you arrive, with £2 per person off when you pre-book parking with the airport. Infants under 2 go free with a paying adult, and Premium Short Stay includes it free.
