How to avoid paying it
The separate Drop Off car park is free for 10 minutes, a 5–10-minute walk from the terminal by covered walkway. No return within an hour, and the airport points drivers collecting someone to Car Park 5. What a lift there and back now costs
£20 in charges: dropped off at Premium Set Down (£8, up to 15 minutes) and collected from Car Park 5 within an hour (£12), because Premium Set Down is for dropping off and the airport recommends Car Park 5 for collecting.
